Hot on the heels of a red hot season in 2021/22, WASDA is today proud to reveal their must see 2022/23 season calendar!

Very similar to the calendar that was so successful last season, there will be fifteen nights of racing held across four tracks, kicking off with the now annual Powerpalooza event at the Perth Motorplex on October 22.

This will be followed on the 5th of November by the Westernapolis event at the same venue, then a fortnight later drivers will travel up to Geraldton City Speedway. This event will be the second Legends of WASDA with the Geraldton club again thrilled to be hosting this prestigious event, which will also double as the opening round of the Country Series.

A couple of weekends later the blue ribbon events will continue, with the Motorplex again hosting the John Day Speedcar Classic on the 3rd of December.

Moora Speedway will host the second round of the Country Series a week later, on December 10th, while the annual Boxing Day event at the Motorplex will bring 2022 to a close.

The New Year Speedcar Derby will bring 2023 in with a bang at the Motorplex on January 2, followed by the third and final round of the Country Series at Bunbury Speedway on the 14th of January.

Three more events at the Motorplex throughout January and February will be the prelude to a local break to allow teams to travel east for the National Title, before returning to the Motorplex for retro night on the 11th of March and the huge WA Speedcar Championship a week later.

The season will then come to a close with the Gold Cup at the Motorplex on the 1st of April and the Grand Final a few weeks later on the 22nd of April.

Last season was a great one and with a number of new drivers set to join and most of the old faces returning, we should again have a wonderful, wild and wingless season of side by side racing action!
