Champion West Australian Speedway racer the late great Michael Figliomeni built and raced several incredible cars in his stellar career.

One of them in particular turned many heads, and everybody had an opinion on.

The self built FIGhter chassis #34 car was affectionately known as the “Mr. squiggle” car - though Michael himself never liked that reference.

The car has been lovingly restored by his great mate Ian Watts and his small team of dedicated crew Pete and Woski.

To this day the car brings back so many incredible memories of a truly remarkable person and racer.

Wade Aunger dropped in to tell some old stories with the guys last night.

They could have talked for hours.
