Rob started his racing career in the #0 car for Lawrie West. Having not raced any junior categories it was straight into the deep end for the lifelong Speedcar fan. After purchasing a car and starting the "Golding Motorsport" team with brother Dan, the boys were quickly on the scene, competing in national events including as contracted Drivers for the now defunct Speedcar Pro Series. After a bit of time to reset and focus on racing at home, the brothers seperated their racing programs allowing each to focus on their own racing.
